ETHERtest V5

The ETHERtest V5 checks, documents and certifies the network infrastructure for Industrial Ethernet, PROFINET, EtherCAT and optionally for fiber optics. In addition to the line length attenuation, crosstalk, resistance, delay, shield and the correct pin assignment are detected and evaluated metrologically. You receive a certification report for the certification.

Cable tester ETHERtest V5.1 for certification up to class FA/category 6A

The ETHERtest V5.1 is capable of evaluating all necessary measurements for the certification and acceptance test of network cables up to class FA/category 6A (1.000 MHz). In addition to the certification of copper lines it is possible to carry out attenuation and OTDR measurements of multimode and singlemode fiber optic cables by using an additional adapter.

The ETHERtest V5.3 is capable of evaluating all necessary measurements for the certification and acceptance test of network cables up to class EA/category 6A (500 MHz).

• Measurement and evaluation of: line length, damping, crosstalk, resistance, delays, shield and correct connection assignment
• Category 5e + 6 measurement in 9 seconds
• Store up to 12.000 CAT 6A measurements on internal memory
• Fault location
